Still Life Abstraction
This series challenges the nature of the image. An 'abstract' image in the form of a diagram is overlaid on a 'realistic' image of an everyday object. The diagram is something that people believe to be true, and is an image that we associate with a process. When we see these diagrams, the brain recognizes them as realistic images.
